Zachary’s Jewelers To Be Featured On CNN

Steve Samaras, owner of Zachary’s Jewelers, Severna Park is being interviewed by CNN/Headline News regarding the second annual Mother’s Day Design Contest at their Severna Park location. The CNN/Headlines News interview is a 5minute segment which highlights local area organizations and their involvement in their community. Zachary’s Jewelers, Severna Park is sponsoring a contest for local area 5th graders asking them to design a piece of jewelry for their mother in their art classes. Finalists will be selected from each of the participating schools and the top three will have their design made into a piece of jewelry for their mother. All participating artists will be invited to a Mother’s Day Brunch at Zachary’s Jewelers, Severna Park & Homestead Gardens on May 6th where the winner artist will be announced and presented with the finished jewelry. The segments which will feature the interview will be airing on CNN and the Headline News stations throughout the month of May.

Steve Samaras, owner of Zachary’s, said “We take pride in becoming involved and interacting in a positive way with our local communities. This contest is a way to engage with the families in the area and to re-enforce the positive role that local area business can take part and build relationships outside of their stores. Steve Samaras also added ” This is a great event which we invite not only the students and their families but also encourage local business owners to participate in by attending.
