Anne Arundel Deputy Chief Confirms Dossier ExistedAnne Arundel County Police Chief James Teare indeed read a dossier compiled against a former county employee, but it remains unclear who ordered it, according to testimony Monday night.Deputy Police Chief Lt. Col. Emerson Davis told County Council members that he had direct knowledge of the dossier compiled against a former county employee who had filed a lawsuit against Republican County Executive John Leopold.Davis also testified that he saw Teare reading the dossier, but he didn’t know who ordered the dossier.

Anne Arundel Police Investigate Sexual Assault Report. Anne Arundel County police are investigating a sexual assault in Linthicum.On March 31, 2012, around 5:57 a.m., officers from the Northern District responded to the Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie to speak with a woman who reported being sexually assaulted during an arranged meeting with a man.According to the victim, at approximately 11 p.m. on March 30, 2012, the man met her in her hotel room at the BWI Sheraton Hotel located in the 1100 block of Old Elkridge Landing Road.

MD Lottery Officials: Winning Ticket Still Unclaimed. Maryland Lottery officials said Monday that no one in the state has stepped forward with a winning Mega Millions lottery ticket yet.The ticket, which was sold at a 7-Eleven store in Milford Mill, is one of three winning tickets purchased for the record-breaking $656 million prize.”Despite numerous rumors to the contrary, no one has come in to claim the prize,” said Maryland Lottery Director Stephen Martino. “We will announce when we have a confirmed winner.”

Jarretsville Father Injures Daughter With Lawn Mower. Fire officials in Harford Countysaid a 9-year-old girl faced the possible amputation of her foot after she was injured by a lawnmower Sunday morning.The incident occurred in the 1300 block Wiley Oak Drive in Jarrettsville.Officials said the girl’s father accidentally backed up on her with a lawn mower.The victim was taken to Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore for critical, non life-threatening injuries.
