Acquitted Dog Killing Suspect Pleads Guilty To Murder.  One of the brothers acquitted of animal cruelty charges in the burning death of a pit bull in Baltimore is headed to prison for attempted murder. Police: New Speed Camera Set On Fire.  Baltimore County police are trying to figure out who set fire to a recently installed speed camera in Catonsville. Police received a call about 1:40 a.m. about the fire in the 400 block of South Rolling Road. Crews arrived and had to put out the blaze.

Family’s Peacock Irritates Neighbors.  An unusual neighborhood dispute over what’s allowed in one’s back yard is ruffling feathers in a Harford County community as the County Council considers expanding a law regulating animals. Feathers of a peacock blowing in the breeze are easily mistaken for blades of grass. But when dusk falls, there’s no mistaking the noise when the peacock ascends to the roof and fans out his feathers.

Woman Arrested In St. Patrick’s Day Beating Of Tourist.  The woman accused of taking part in a St. Patrick’s Day assault of a Virginia man that was caught on camera will remain in jail on $750,000 bond. Shayone Mikia Davis, 20, who was arrested late last week, faces four charges, including armed robbery. The video that went viral online captured Davis beating the victim with her high-heeled shoe.
