Hopkins Dedicates New $1.1B Towers. International royalty and national leaders converged on Baltimore on Thursday to help dedicate one of the biggest hospital construction projects in the country.The new Johns Hopkins Hospital facility sits on 1.6 million square feet in east Baltimore, and the project includes state-of-the-art patient and operating rooms.

Prom Dress Donations To Help Girls In Need. A Baltimore County teen is collecting dresses to donate to girls who need them just in time for prom season.McDonogh junior Alex Meyer is collecting prom dresses for area teens in need as a community service project she started last year with her mom with the help of the Jewish Community Center.”This is my first year going to prom, and you’re going to remember prom for the rest of your life,” Meyer said. “So, we contacted the JCC and, together, we created the Glass Slipper Boutique.”
