Homicide In Glen Burnie Neighborhood

On April 5, 2012 just after 3:00 p.m., officers from the Northern District responded to a reported shooting in the 1500 block of Furnace Avenue in Glen Burnie.

Upon arrival, officers entered a residence and found 53-year old victim Ray William Collignon dead of an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Members of the Homicide Unit responded to investigate and questioned another person found in the residence.

Preliminary investigation indicates this incident is isolated to this location. No charges have been placed as yet and the investigation is active and ongoing. Detectives are consulting with the State’s Attorney’s Office. No additional information is available as this time.

Victim: Ray William Collignon, DOB 05-25-1958, 1500 block of Furnace Avenue, Glen Burnie, MD.
