Anne Arundel County Police have issued the following update regarding the arrest of Jeffrey N. Furlong who was the operator of the Ford Explorer involved in this week’s road rage incident in Gambrills. Furlong was being held at the Anne Arundel County Detention Center.
The follow-up investigation consisted of additional witness interviews and consultation with the State’s Attorney’s Office. As a result, an arrest warrant was obtained for the operator of the Ford Explorer, Jeffrey Neil Furlough, 44, of 11 West Jeffrey Street in Brooklyn Park, Maryland, charging him with two counts of First Degree Assault and two counts of Second Degree Assault for his involvement in the incident. On February 23, 2012, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Furlough turned himself in at the Northern District station.
