Fire Rips Through Anne Arundel Apartment Complex, Forces Residents Out. The residents of three apartment units were displaced Sunday following a three-alarm fire in Anne Arundel County. Firefighters responded to the Horizon Square apartment complex in the 3500 block of Laurel-Fort Meade Road at about 4 a.m., according to officials.When crews arrived, they found flames shooting from the fourth floor of a six-story apartment building with such intensity that fire commanders requested second and third alarms.

Check Your Mail; Stamps Now 45 Cents. The cost of stamps is going up again.Beginning on Sunday, the price of a first-class postage stamp went up a penny to 45 cents.It’s the first increase in more than two years.Postage for postcards will increase by three cents to 32 cents. Letters to Canada and Mexico will go up by five cents to 85 cents.

Priest Arrested In Indecent Exposure Case. An Archdiocese of Baltimore priest has been removed from his duties after Harford County sheriff’s deputies arrested him at an adult book store.The sheriff’s office said deputies conducting a routine check of adult bookstores last Monday found Mark Stewart Bullock naked from the waist down on a couch at the Bush River Books and Movie Theater in the 3900 block of Pulaski Highway in Aberdeen.Bullock, 47, served as an associated pastor at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Towson, Baltimore County.

Ravens Lose To Patriots In AFC Title Game. Unable to solve the Baltimore Ravens’ defense with his arm, Tom Brady had to beat them with his legs.Brady’s 1-yard leap on a quarterback sneak with just under 11½ minutes to play accounted for the winning touchdown as the New England Patriots outlasted the visiting Ravens 23-20 in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.. A botched last-second field goal by Baltimore allowed Brady and the Patriots to advance to their fifth Super Bowl in 11 seasons.
