Sexual Assault In Glen Burnie

Glen Burnie Sex Assault SuspectOn December 14, 2011, at approximately 1:40 a.m., officers from the Eastern District responded to Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie for a report of a sexual assault.

The adult female victim reported that she met a male subject earlier in the evening at a bar on Crain Highway and had just left the bar with the subject. The victim indicated that she was walking with the subject in the 300 block of Hospital Drive when the suspect sexually assaulted her. After the assault, the suspect was last seen heading toward Mountain Ridge Drive. Officers canvassed the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division’s Sex Offense Unit responded to the scene and assumed responsibility for the investigation. Anyone with additional information related to this incident is asked to contact Detective Justin Widup at 410-222-3468. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

Suspect: Black male, approximately 6’4”, 280 pounds with short, black hair with “twists” on top, a tattoo on the neck, last seen wearing a black leather jacket and tan pants.
