Jing Ying Institute of Kung Fu & Tai Chi (www.jingying.org), based in Arnold, will celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year with two weeks of free and low-cost workshops.
In 2012, the Lunar New Year begins on Monday, January 23, and the celebration lasts for 15 days. Each year, Jing Ying Institute celebrates by hosting a variety of workshops that are open to the public. This year, they will usher in the “Year of the Dragon,” with classes on Chinese calligraphy, tai chi, qigong, kung fu, traditions of the Lunar New Year, and much more.
