Annapolis Idol Seeks Contestants

The Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center is seeking entries from local artists who believe they have the personality and singing skills to be the Annapolis Idol in our 5th year of the competition.  Ten to twelve finalists will be selected from entries and invited to appear at the Annapolis Idol event to be held at Wild Willy’s in Annapolis on Sunday, March 4, 2012, from 5.00 to 9.00 p.m.

Contestants will show off their singing talent before a live audience of several hundred guests and a panel of local celebrity judges. Both celebrity decisions and audience votes will help determine the 2012 Annapolis Idol.

Idol contenders should come to one of the five auditions at Wild Willy’s on Tuesday evenings, January 10, 17, 24, 31 and February 71 at 8:00 pm. Contenders should plan on arriving by 7:30 pm to register and coordinate their song choice with the DJ before the auditions begin at 8 pm.
Contestants must be at least 21 years of age by event date and must be able to perform a Top 40/mainstream pop song live to music they select and coordinate with our professional DJ. All contestants will be selected at the live auditions and finalists will be notified by email or phone by February 23rd. Finalists must be available to appear at the March 4 event.
