The Future Is Now

The 2011-12 “Future is Now! Are You Ready?” workshops continue with “Future Conversations…Today” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Arnold Senior Activity Center, 44 Church Road, Arnold.

Mary Fridley, registered nurse and founder of Gero-Resources LLC, will be joined by a registered nurse from a hospice program to discuss when is it time to change from aggressive medical treatment to non-medical palliative care for a loved one with dementia. Participants will go beyond Advance Directives to learning how to ask the “right” questions now and get answers so future decisions can be made with confidence.

The workshop presented by the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities and is sponsored by Anne Arundel Medical Center. While the Department of Aging and Disabilities is grateful to its sponsors, the Department does not endorse any particular vendor or business.

For information or to register, call 410-222-4464, Ext. 3094, or register online at www.aacounty.org/aging.
