Annapolis has been buzzing about the 1st Annual Annapolis Fringe Festival happening November 12th. The concept has sparked quite a few discussions and one of the top questions is “what’s it all about?” Well, it is hard to describe. It is not the Mona Lisa or some Ansel Adams photograph. But it is creative and will utilize virtually any medium….vehicles…wood…paper…the human body…comedy…magic…performing arts…dance…street theatre…you get the picture.
There is a terrific lineup set for Saturday with plenty of family friendly acts and artists during the day and a few more risque ones at night. When was the last time you saw a human sushi sculpture in the Tsunami window? Well, you will have to wait to see that on Saturday, but here are a few photos of the some cars and wood carvings that will be highlighted at the Annapolis Fringe Festival.
