Annapolis Harmony Holiday At Loews

The Annapolis area’s premiere men’s show chorus, the Sons of the Severn Barbershop Chorus, will present Annapolis Harmony Holiday, a concert featuring traditional barbershop songs, Christmas favorites in barbershop harmony style, and a bit of storytelling. This one-performance-only show will take place from 4pm to 6pm on Sunday, December 11th, 2011, in the Regatta Ballroom at the Loews Annapolis Hotel, 126 West Street. A post-concert reception will be held in the hotel’s Atrium Lounge immediately after the show.

Tickets prices include general admission seating, self-parking at the Loews Annapolis Hotel, and a post-concert reception with complimentary hors d’oeuvres, hot beverages, and cookies. A cash bar will also be available.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for seniors (62+), students, and military personnel. Tickets may be purchased online at www.singannapolis.com, or by calling (410) 674-7165. All tickets will be held for pickup at the Will Call desk the day of the show. Advance ticket purchase is highly recommended, as the intimate venue has limited seating.

“The chorus has been so busy the last few Christmas seasons that we’ve missed out on some opportunities to celebrate the holidays in Annapolis,” says Sons of the Severn Music Director T.J. Barranger. “So this year, we decided to have a special concert here at home, in one of the most luxurious venues in town.”

This special holiday event is sponsored in part by the Loews Annapolis Hotel, and by a grant from the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County to the Sons of the Severn.

The Sons of the Severn Barbershop Chorus is the performing chorus of the Anne Arundel County chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, and is a non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. Information on joining the chapter, earning a spot in the performing chorus, or hiring the chorus can be found at www.singannapolis.com.
