The Annapolis Police Department has released the following information this morning:

Suspicious Activity around Children – Over the past week there have been three reports of suspicious activity around children. Two of the reports have been in the Woodside Gardens community and the other was at Georgetown East Elementary. Two men in a vehicle were suspected of taking photographs of children outside in Woodside Gardens. The same vehicle may have been seen at Georgetown East Elementary. In all three occasions no children were approached. The descriptions of the men and the vehicle varied between the reports.

While these activities are not illegal they are certainly suspicious.  We would encourage parents to talk to their children about their safety when they are out playing by themselves.

While this is not illegal, it seems strange that the police are not releasing any further description of the suspects and the vehicles. Presence of similar suspects and vehicles should be cause for concern; and be followed up upon by police.
