Annapolis Police investigate Double Shooting. Police in Annapolis were investigating an early-morning double shooting.Officers responded after receiving multiple 911 calls at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday from residents hearing gunshots.Two male victims were found in the 400 block of Captains Circle with gunshot wounds.

Racist Graffiti Found In AA County Exec’s Neighborhood. Anne Arundel County Police confirmed Sunday that racist graffiti was found in September in the Elizabeth Landing community in Pasadena, the same community where County Executive John Leopold lives.Leopold’s press officer, Dave Abrams, said Leopold called police to report the graffiti, but someone had already notified police.Anne Arundel police said district-level detectives were investigating the incident as destruction of property — not a hate crime — because a specific person or group was not targeted.

Raven’s D Scores Three TDs, Defeats Jets 34-17. Mark Sanchez kept giving the ball away, and the Baltimore Ravens were only too happy to take it the other way into the end zone.The Ravens scored three touchdowns on defense, all off turnovers by Sanchez, and cruised to a 34-17 victory over the New York Jets on Sunday night in a bizarre game that featured an NFL-record five returns for scores.

US Senator Barbara Mikulski Makes History. Maryland’s senior senator made history this weekend.Sen. Barbara Mikulski was inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame Saturday.The other inductees included an equal rights champion, a pioneering chemist and the first woman to enter the Boston Marathon, a group of women who ignored the notion of impossibilities, 11 News I-Team reporter Deborah Weiner said.
