Glen Burnie Man Arrested For Peeping At Teen. A Glen Burnie man was arrested Tuesday after police said he was caught peering into a girl’s bedroom window.Kenneth Henry, 30, was charged with peeping Tom and trespassing after the incident at a home in the 1200 block of Guildford Road in Glen Burnie.A witness told police that he saw a man peering into his friend’s house through a bedroom window about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. The man said he confronted Henry and called police.

Maryland Expands Ignition Interlock Program. Maryland is expanding a Breathalyzer system to keep drunken drivers off the road.Recent studies show 65 percent of people who have their licenses suspended for drinking and driving still drive. The Maryland Ignition Interlock Program is designed to keep drunken drivers off the road.The program, which began in 1989, is being expanded to require more people to put the devices in their cars. The program allows people to drive and control drunken driving simultaneously.

Clues Sought In Rape Of Girl, 14. City police are seeking information about a van and its occupants in connection with a rape investigation in west Baltimore.Authorities said Wednesday that a 14-year-old girl was walking in the 1500 block of Leslie Street on Sunday afternoon and was trying to get directions.A tan van, driven by a black man in his 20s, pulled up beside the girl, and the driver offered her a ride. The occupants of the van then sexually assaulted the girl, police said.

MD Comptroller: Don’t Raise Taxes Now. The state’s top tax collector said now is not the time to raises taxes on Marylanders.Despite recommendations from a state advisory panel to increase Maryland’s gas tax and the so-called flush tax, Comptroller Peter Franchot is recommending a two-year break in tax hikes.Franchot told WBAL-AM Radio that both proposed increases would stall the economy.The General Assembly will take up both proposals in January’s session.
