DragonFly Dance Experiment presents the third annual “Dock Side Dance” a free, outdoor dance concert in Annapolis, MD on the Campbell Park Stage at the City Docks on Saturday, October 1 2011 at 5pm (Rain Date October 2). This year’s event will be dedicated to supporting The Light House Shelter. We will be collecting items of need for the residents before, during and after the performance. Local businesses, the Federal House and Vivo, are also supporting The Light House Shelter through this event by donating a portion of sales from all audience members attending the “Dock Side Dance”.
Dock Side Dance is supported by a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council, an agency dedicated to cultivating a vibrant cultural community where the arts thrive. Funding for the Maryland State Arts Council is also provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.
DragonFly Dance Experiment is a professional dance company dedicated to sharing cultural experiences through dance. We provide opportunities to make modern and contemporary dance accessible to the community through performances and dance education experiences.
