Man Accused Of Assaulting Woman After I-83 Crash.  Police have accused a man of assaulting a woman on Interstate 83 in Baltimore County after rear-ending her vehicle.Michael Henshaw, 30, of York, Pa., has been charged with second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and robbery, according to a Maryland State Police news release. Police said a woman was driving north on I-83 near York Road Friday night when her vehicle was hit from behind.Investigators said Henshaw was driving the Jeep that hit the woman’s car and that he offered the woman money to settle the incident without police involvement.

Man Threatens To Sue Police Over Deleted Videos. The American Civil Liberties Union of Maryland is threatening to sue Baltimore police over their actions at last year’s Preakness Stakes, where a man said officers took his cellphone and deleted his personal videos after he tried to videotape officers during their encounter with a female friend.The ACLU said Christopher Sharp was detained after the arrest of his friend. A separate video of the arrest shows officers pinning the bleeding woman to the floor.

National Aquarium In Baltimore Celebrates 30 Years.  Thirty years and 44 million visitors later, The National Aquarium in Baltimore marks a big birthday, celebrating its status as the No. 1 paid attraction in Maryland. A host of activities — many of which are free and open to the public — will include original exhibits, including the ever-popular shark tank and the rainforest. Some of the animals have been swimming in the aquarium’s tanks since opening day.As the aquarium’s popularity grew, so did its size, expanding to include the dolphin show tank, permanent and temporary exhibits for amphibians and thousands of other creatures and a 4-D movie theater that puts people into an instant blizzard.

1 Killed In I-95 Scooter Crash. Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal collision that closed southbound Interstate 95 in the southwest corner of Baltimore County.The crash happened shortly before midnight Thursday near the exit for the Outer Loop of Interstate 695 in Arbutus.State Police said the crash involved a motor scooter and another vehicle. Police said the driver of the motor scooter died.Another person was taken to Shock Trauma in unknown condition.There’s no word yet on how the crash happened.Southbound I-95 was closed between I-695 and Interstate 195 until about 6 a.m. Friday.
