A Punk Fourth Of July

Punk’s Backyard Grill (2188 Annapolis Mall) is celebrating Independence Day with a cookout on the patio.  In addition to serving the regular menu, Punk’s Grillmasters will be cooking Corn on the Cob and Chef Dean Maupin’s Dry Rubbed Ribs on the outdoor grill on the Punk’s patio.

Corn on the Cob ($2) will be grilled in the husk, and served with honey butter. Chef Dean’s Ribs are dry rubbed then slow roasted and finished on the grill with Punk’s sweet and tangy Barbecue Sauce.  Guests can enjoy half a rack of ribs with freshly baked cornbread, corn on the cob, and a small Picnic Table Side of his or her choice on the Dry Rubbed Ribs Plate ($18.99).

Punk’s extensive craft beer selection will also be a highlight of the celebration. A keg of Punk’s house brew, Draft Punk IPA, will be hooked up to our hop filter.  Beer lovers can enjoy this balanced American IPA filtered through whole leaf Cascade and Citra hops for added hoppy goodness all day on Sunday and Monday ($5). All draft beers including Draft Punk and most bottles are just $3 during happy hour from 3:00pm – 5:00pm on Monday.

“July 4th is about getting outdoors with good food, good beer, and good company, so we’re really excited to grill outside this year,” says General Manager David McCabe. “We’ve been looking forward to making Chef Dean’s ribs for a while, and we thought that this was the perfect occasion for their debut.”

The festivities will take place on Sunday, July 3rd and Monday, July 4th during regular restaurant hours: 11:00am – 9:00pm.
