If you are experiencing joint pain and are contemplating replacement surgery, come to DocTalk, AAMC’s FREE seminar where you will meet and hear from orthopedic surgeons on the AAMC Medical Staff.  The panel discussion will cover hip and knee replacement surgery, conservative measures such as pain management and physical therapy as well as an overview of The AAMC Joint Center.

Super Sitter

The Super Sitter class teaches children ages 11-15 how to be GREAT babysitters. Using the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission Super Sitter Guide, babysitters learn about children, their families, product safety, having a job and managing money. Topics include: 1) What makes a Super Sitter? 2) What is expected of a babysitter? 3) Where the child is…babysitters don’t do much sitting. 4) The toys children play with.  5) Playing outdoors, including pool/water safety. 6) Poison-food for thought only. 7) Time to leave-putting it all together.
