Tats & Bats For Bowie

The Bowie Baysox announce today the inaugural Tats & Bats Night, Thursday, July 14, as the team takes on the Richmond Flying Squirrels at 7:05 p.m.  The event features a special ticket offer for fans with real and visible tattoos and in-game tattoo-themed contests and prizes.  The first 1,000 fans receive a Baysox fake tattoo.

Promotions Manager Chris Rogers is excited to see the different tattoos fans will show off during the game.  “We are offering fans with real tattoos half-priced lower reserved seat tickets,” Rogers said.  “I know there are fans with really creative tattoos out in the community and we want all of them to come out and enjoy a ball game. For those who don’t have any permanent ink, we are giving away 1,000 fake Baysox tattoos so everyone can participate.”

For Tats & Bats Night, any fan with a real tattoo that is visible and in an appropriate location can purchase a lower reserved seat ticket for $7 (regularly $14).  The tattoo must be permanent in order to qualify for the discount.  In-between innings, the Baysox put tattoos to the test with contests including most inked fan and best tattoo.

Baysox Baseball – We’ll Knock Your ‘Sox Off. The Baysox 19th season as the class Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles is underway.  Parking is free at every Baysox home game and tickets are now available at www.baysox.com, or by calling the Baysox box office at (301) 464-4865.
