2 Killed In Annapolis Motorcycle Crash. Two people were killed in Annapolis in a motorcycle crash early Thursday morning.The crash happened around 1 a.m. on King George Street near Route 450 near an entrance to the Naval Academy.Police said officers patrolling in the area heard the crash and found the victims, a man and a woman, who were both pronounced dead at the scene.Authorities haven’t released how the crash happened.
Police Probe Stabbing Of Crofton Family Members. Three women and a man suffered stab wounds in a family dispute in Crofton early Wednesday, police said. Anne Arundel County police received a frantic emergency call from one of the victims at about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday from a house in the 1600 block of Forrest Hill Court, police spokesman Justin Mulcahy said.”One of the daughters inside of the home contacted the Police Department to report that she and her sister had been stabbed and also the mother had been stabbed, all stabbed by their father,” Mulcahy said.
Dozens Arrested At Phish Concert At Merriweather Post Pavilion In Columbia. Police arrested dozens of concert-goers over the weekend and seized three cars and $2,000 in cash. Howard County police announced Wednesday the arrest of 24 people Saturday and Sunday at two Phish concerts at Merriweather Post Pavilion, which drew 35,000 people over the weekend. Police said officers seized marijuana, hashish, ecstasy, nitrous oxide and methamphetamine in addition to three vehicles containing drugs.
‘Ripley’s’ Museum Could Be Next At Harborplace. A Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum could be the next tenant of Baltimore’s Harborplace.WBAL Radio has learned that General Growth Properties, which owns Harborplace, has been in talks with Ripley’s and is part of an “executed lease.”A Ripley’s Believe It Or Not concept would be part of a plan by General Growth Properties to boost occupancy of the waterfront pavilions to more than 90 percent.
