Mystery Bobbleheads In Bowie

The Bowie Baysox announce today a mystery collectible bobblehead doll giveaway at Prince George’s Stadium Thursday, July 7.  The first 500 fans ages six and up receive a bobblehead as the Baysox take on the Reading Phillies at 7:05 p.m.

“Many talented players have come to Bowie over the years and mystery bobblehead night offers a chance for fans to experience that history with a collectible item,” said Assistant General Manager Phil Wrye. “The exciting part is that fans won’t know what face they will see on their limited-edition bobblehead until they come to the game.”

Baysox stars from the past and Baltimore Orioles players of the present, including catcher Matt Wieters, right-handed pitcher Brad Bergesen, outfielder Nolan Reimold and right-handed pitcher Jake Arrieta may be among the bobbleheads fans receive. A few lucky fans will receive autographed bobbleheads, but the identity of the bobblehead will remain a mystery until fans arrive at the stadium gates the day of the game.

Baysox Baseball – We’ll Knock Your ‘Sox Off. The Baysox 19th season as the class Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles is underway.  Parking is free at every Baysox home game and tickets are now available at www.baysox.com or by calling the Baysox box office at (301) 464-4865.
