Free Concert June 16th –Austrian Eggner Trio

The internationally renowned Eggner Trio from Austria, will give a free concert open to the public in the World Artists Experiences’ Ambassador Series at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 16 at the Heritage Baptist Church, 1740 Forest Drive, Annapolis.

The Trio will perform the Joseph Haydn Trio in C, the Dvorak Trio in F and a composition by a young Austrian Composer, Johannes Berauer.

Founded in 1997, the trio is composed of three brothers, Christoph, George, and Florian Eggner, all prize winning musicians at European conservatories. Pianist Christoph Eggner studied in Vienna and Paris and is currently on the staff at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Georg Eggner, violinist, has studied with renown musicians in Vienna and has received scholarships for additional study in Europe and Japan. Florian Eggner, violoncello, is a first prize winner of Prima la Musica 1996. He has studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, as well as at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. The trio is now one of the most highly recognized young artists of Europe.
