Losing a loved one is always stressful, whether it is the result of a lingering illness or accident. Yet, there are still many things that you will need to take care of after the death.

Learn what steps you need to take in a presentation titled “After the Death of a Loved One” by Lauren Parker, Anne Arundel County Register of Wills. This workshop will help you to identify who needs to be notified and what documentation you will need to have on hand to help simplify this process.

The free workshop will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, at the Arnold Senior Center, 44 Church Road, Arnold. It is part of “The Future Is Now! Are You Ready?” series offered by the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities. The sponsors are Home Helpers of the Greater Chesapeake and Maxim Healthcare Services. Sandy Spring Bank is providing “Vital Documents” folders to hold important papers.
