On May 3, 2011, at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers from the Northern District responded to the 100 block of Warwickshire Lane in Glen Burnie for a report of a missing person.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with an adult male, who indicated that he has not seen or heard from his 27-year-old girlfriend, Carolyn Marie French, since April 29, 2011. Additionally, officers spoke with family members and friends, who advised that they last spoke to Ms. French on May 1, 2011. Through the preliminary investigation, there were no critical factors or indicators of foul play at the time of her disappearance; however, relatives have become increasingly concerned for her safety and well-being due to the amount of time that has elapsed since she has contacted anyone.

Detectives from the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit are actively investigating the case. Ms. French is described as a 27-year-old white female, 5’1”-5’2” with a heavy build, blue eyes, brown hair, a large, black and white Marilyn Manson symbol tattoo across her chest, a red and black butterfly tattoo on her right calf and an eyebrow piercing. Ms. French was last seen wearing black pants, a black shirt and black boots and may be driving a white 2003 Hyundai Accent with a dent on the hood and numerous “skull stickers” on it in the Arlington, Virginia area.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Jay Schline of the Missing Persons Unit at 410-222-3588 or the Anne Arundel County Police Department at 410-222-8610.
