The All Children’s Chorus of Annapolis (ACCA) is celebrating ten years with their 10th Anniversary Concert.

The event will take place on Saturday, May 14th at Woods Presbyterian Church starting at 7 p.m..  The church is located at 611 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park, MD.

All three ACCA choirs will perform music from ACCA’s 10 year chorus history, under the direction of Julie Culotta and accompanied by Dana Scott. Special highlights: the World Premiere of “Gardener of the World”, a new choral work written for ACCA by acclaimed composer Dr. Philip Silvey. Dr. Silvey is Associate Professor of Choral Music Education at Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory where he directs the Women’s Choir, the Conservatory Outreach Honors Chorales, and teaches undergraduate courses in music education. He has received numerous commissions and his compositions have been performed by state and national honors choruses.

“Over the past 10 years, the All Children’s Chorus of Annapolis has grown from a few young choristers to a thriving arts organization for children with a passion for singing beautiful music.  ACCA embodies the cultural diversity and the awareness of the arts that is ever present in the city of Annapolis,” said Culotta.  “We look forward to sharing with you some of our favorite musical selections from our first 10 years!”
