Graul’s Good Food Weekends

Graul’s Market will join the Anne Arundel County Department of Health’s Learn To Live program to sponsor two Good Food for Good Health Weekends. The Graul’s at 1388 Cape St. Claire Road in Annapolis will participate April 27 through May 1, and the Graul’s at 607 Taylor Avenue in Annapolis will participate May 20 through May 22.

The program helps consumers select nutritious, low-fat, high-fiber foods at the supermarket. Shoppers can visit nutrition booths staffed by health educators and take home bags containing free healthy recipes, brochures and a magnet. In addition, healthy recipes and nutrition and physical activity tips will be placed throughout the stores.

Good Food for Good Health Weekend hours at Graul’s at 1388 Cape St. Claire Road are:

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27; 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on  Friday, April 29;
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 30; and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 1.

Hours at Graul’s at 607 Taylor Avenue are:

Noon to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 20; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 21; and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 22.

The Learn To Live program encourages County residents to reduce their risk of developing cancer and other serious illnesses by making healthy lifestyle choices, such as eating a healthy diet, quitting smoking and
