Does Social Media Have You Confused?

| April 24, 2011, 08:07 PM | 0 Comments

It seems that everyone is on Facebook on a personal level. Many businesses have a facebook presence with a page–we do too, are you a fan?  We are also on Twitter–are you following us? Fourquare? LinkedIn? YouTube?  Or are you just confused about all of these new social networks.

If you are confused, you are not alone by any means.  Many businesses and organizations establish themselves, but never take the critical next step and engage their audience. And by engage, I mean a two way conversation, not a constant barrage of specials of the day.

If you are a bit confused, I invite you to take a look at a new website I started a few months ago called Social Annapolis. The intent is to provide a blog that will offer many general tips from many different sources to help you kick up your social media efforts a notch or two.

I hope you take advantage of it. There is no cost. Some of the information may not be useful to you but much of it will be. I believe that any business or organization really needs to be on top of the social media game and this is a small way that I can help spread the word!

If you have some quick questions, please feel free to contact me on the site, or by email and I will be glad to answer any question.  If you need something more developed–a social media program, hands on management, etc., I would be happy to provide a proposal for your consideration.

And stay tuned, I am working on a curriculum right now, and plan to have Social Media 101 seminar sometime in the near future!
