FBI Offers $5K Reward In BWI Laser Incident. Federal officials are offering a reward in the case of a laser beamed at a commercial aircraft approaching Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. The FBI posted a $5,000 reward Monday for information leading to the arrest of the person who beamed the laser into the cockpit of the Southwest Airlines flight from Milwaukee, with more than 130 people on board, as it passed over Millersville around 6:45 p.m. on Feb. 20. Officials said the pilot and first officer took their eyes off the instruments during final approach, but the aircraft landed safely.

3 Flee In Annapolis Double Shooting. Police in Annapolis are investigating a double-shooting Monday night.In a statement released Tuesday, Annapolis police Maj. Scott Baker said officers were called to the 1800 block of Whiton Court shortly before 9 p.m. Monday for a report of shots fired.Baker said officers found a 39-year-old man shot in the buttocks and a 23-year-old man grazed in the ear. The 39-year-old man was taken to Shock Trauma and was released after treatment. The 23-year-old man refused treatment.

Baltimore Delegate Holds Up House Vote On Gay Marriage. At least one Maryland lawmaker said she held up a bill Tuesday to legalize gay marriage in order to gain support for her own legislation, including funding for Baltimore schools.Maryland’s House Judiciary Committee delayed a critical vote Tuesday on the bill after two supporters didn’t show up. Delegate Jill Carter, D-Baltimore, said she skipped the vote because she wants $15 million in funding restored to Baltimore schools and passage of her bill to more evenly divide child custody for divorced parents.

Woman Gets Probation For Being Naked In Store. A Virginia woman has been sentenced to 18 months supervised probation for taking off her clothes in a convenience store and sexually harassing patrons and employees. Jennifer Riegler, 22, of Accomack County also agreed not to return to Maryland as a condition of probation. She was sentenced this week after pleading guilty to assault and disturbing the peace. Police said on Dec. 18, Riegler danced naked around a Royal Farms store in Hebron, making sexual gestures and propositioning customers and employees. Riegler apologized during her trial, saying she was not in the right state of mind.
