Alleged Peeping Tom Victim: Suspect Was Caught In Bedroom. A Crofton neighborhood is in shock after police said the area was stalked by a burglar who also filmed people while they were partially nude.Anne Arundel County police said Charles Dean Novak, 35, faces more than 20 charges including burglary, theft and peeping tom. On Sunday, 20-year-old Kylie Stevenson told the WBAL-TV 11 News sister station in Washington D.C., that her family has had problems with Novak before.”He’d actually shown up in my bedroom. My dad noticed the doors were unlocked and came upstairs to see if I had sneaked out and (Novak) was standing there watching me sleep. We don’t know how long he was there,” Stevenson said.

Anne Arundel Public Safety Workers Criticized Over Ads. The Anne Arundel County Ethics Commission has reprimanded public safety workers, saying police officers and firefighters acted improperly by using what appeared to be official vehicles and insignias in pro-slots campaign ads.The commission said the workers didn’t break any laws but that the activity before the vote on a casino at Arundel Mills Mall violated the spirit of the ethics law.

Toilet With Note Causes Scare Outside Towson Courthouse. Baltimore County police said a porcelain toilet with a note attached forced the shutdown of Washington Avenue.The stretch of road had been reopened by Monday afternoon.The item was found at about 8:15 a.m. Monday near the courthouse plaza in downtown Towson.Police said security personnel discovered the porcelain toilet on the sidewalk at Washington Avenue and Chesapeake Avenue and said that the toilet had a cell phone and note taped to it.

Police: 2 In Serious Condition With Stab Wounds. Howard County police are investigating a fight in which two men suffered non-fatal stab wounds.Officers responded to the 5300 block of Phelps Luck Drive in Columbia early Monday for a report of a stabbing.Brandon Charles Kostinsky, 19, of Ellicott City, was found with multiple stab wounds to his lower body. Police also located Wayland Moore, 20, of Baltimore, with a stab wound to the torso.
