Police Seek Help With Glen Burnie Bank Robberies

On Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at approximately 11:59 a.m.,, an attempted bank robbery occurred at the Carrollton Bank located at 427 Crain Highway, N., Glen Burnie, Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

The suspect is described as a white male, 40 to 50 years of age, 5’10”-6’, 200-250 lbs and was wearing a black knit cap and a black jacket.  The suspect passed a note announcing a robbery but left prior to receiving any money.

This case also appears to be related to a bank robbery that occurred on Thursday, February 3, 2011, at 11:14 a.m. at the Severn Savings Bank located at 413 Crain Highway, S. in Glen Burnie, MD. In that incident, the suspect entered the bank, passed a note announcing a robbery and left with an undisclosed amount of money.
