125 Colleges Expected At Fair At AACC

| February 16, 2011, 02:47 PM | 0 Comments

Find out about more than 125 colleges and universities all gathered under one roof at “Reaching for Success,” the annual college fair, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, at Anne Arundel Community College.

This free event co-sponsored by AACC and Anne Arundel County Public Schools will help students explore higher education options, gather and compare data and visit with university representatives all at one time.

Visit AACC tables staffed by representatives of credit and noncredit programs and college services. Meet representatives from two- and four-year colleges and universities, who can supply handouts, curriculum information and answers to typical questions. Check out familiar and unfamiliar colleges. Talk face-to-face with counselors and admission representatives.

Students, their families and friends can get help with specific questions and decision-making. The 2011 College Fair makes it easy to take that first step in sorting out which college matches your goals.

Parking is free. Come to the David S. Jenkins Gymnasium on the Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway. Call 410-777-1999 for information or visit www.aacc.edu/events/file/collegefair. Call Disability Support Services, 410-777-2306 or Maryland Relay 711, 72 hours in advance to request most accommodations.
