Summer Jobs For Teens

Six Flags America, is seeking enthusiastic, outgoing, and responsible team players to fill more than 2,000 local seasonal jobs during the 2011 operating season. Online applications are available now at sixflagsjobs.com and the park will host its annual job fair and conduct interviews on Saturday, March 5, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at 13710 Central Avenue (Maryland Route 214) in Bowie.

Rides, Foods, Games, Retail, Entertainment, Aquatics, Warehouse, Marketing, Maintenance, Security, and Front Gate operations are among the many departments seeking to fill positions for the 2011 theme park season, which begins April 16.  Seasonal positions begin in late March and last through October, with the greatest number of jobs available during the summer months. Supervisor and lead positions are also available for qualified individuals, as are paid internships for college students pursuing such fields of study as marketing, public relations, maintenance, business management, human resources, and hospitality.

Six Flags America has jobs for team members of all experience levels and backgrounds, including students, teachers, second wage earners, and senior citizens. Anyone interested in pursuing a seasonal position must first go to the Six Flags job  site (sixflagsjobs.com) to review open positions and criteria and fill out the application online.  After an application review, fitting candidates are notified to participate in a live interview at the park. Applicants attending the job fair are encouraged to expedite their application process by completing the online application prior to attending the event. Candidates must be at least 16 years of age to work at Six Flags America this season.
