Many Crashes Reported On Major Roads.  A jackknifed tractor-trailer shut down the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 early Tuesday as a storm passing through Maryland left behind icy conditions.A storm collided with a cold air mass over Maryland overnight, dropping some snow before turning to freezing rain. A winter storm warning is in effect for much of the Maryland until noon today. TrafficPulse 11 reporter Sarah Caldwell reported that state police closed I-70 in both directions between Mount Airy and Woodbine.

Man Charged In Pasadena Stabbing Anne Arundel County police have charged a man with attempted murder after a stabbing. Police said officers were called Sunday afternoon to a home in Pasadena. Officers said Jesse Lee Allgaier, 29, and Robert Lee Still, 55, got into a fight at their home. Still was stabbed in the upper body and taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, where he was in stable condition. Allgaier was also taken to Shock Trauma for injuries sustained in the fight. Police said he was arrested after he was released.

Slain Dancer’s Friends Share Memories.  Light snow fell Monday night as friends shared warm memories of Deborah Flores-Narvaez, whose body was found dismembered in Las Vegas.Flores-Narvaez graduated from the Old Mill High School in the mid 1990s. Since then, she has she moved to Las Vegas to pursue a dancing career and has kept in touch with a number of friends from the area.She landed a role in the Luxor Hotel’s fantasy show, but police said she met a nightmarish end at the hands of her boyfriend.”She touched everyone that you met,” said Erica Davis-Ruth, a friend. “There was no way you could ever forget her.””She was the life of the party and I’m glad I got to know her,” said Ronnie Parker Jr., a friend. “It’s amazing how she did bring everybody here together.”

Police ID Body Found In Icy Drainage Pond.  An hours-long search of a drainage pond in Anne Arundel County led authorities to discover a young man’s body submerged in icy water.Police have identified the man as Justin Paul Raddie, 28,County fire officials said crews found the body early Sunday afternoon in a drainage pond in Edgewater.Rescue crews were called at about 9:30 a.m. to a location near Stepneys Lane and Riverton Place near the old Southern District Police Station in Edgewater. A passerby noticed that an icy area intact the day before had been breached Sunday morning, and she called authorities.It remained unclear Sunday night how the man ended up in the water or how long he was underneath. Investigators said they do not suspect foul play.Officials found two shoes that led to the pond. One shoe was near the shoreline and another shoe was near the break in the ice.Raddie was a native of Gambrills.
