Police Looking For Home Invasion Suspect

From a police bulletin:

On January 12, 2011, at approximately 2:31 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Stone Point Drive in Annapolis for a report of a home invasion.  Officers located the 39-year-old female victim at the apartment rental office.  Through the investigation, it was determined that the victim was in her apartment when she heard a knock at the door.  The victim opened the door and a male subject, who appeared to her to be a maintenance worker, stated that he was there to check her heat.  The victim allowed the subject into the apartment and he produced a handgun and announced a robbery.  The victim gave the suspect money, but he proceeded to assault her with the handgun.  The suspect then took personal property and eventually left in an unknown direction.  The victim ran to the leasing office for assistance.

The suspect has been described as a black male, approximately 20-30 years old, 5’6” with a slim build, no facial hair with possible braces on his teeth, wearing a yellow construction hard hat, a yellow safety vest, tan pants, green or red hooded sweatshirt and work boots
