Polar Bear Plunge Videos

Eye On Annapolis was at the Polar Bear Plunge yesterday and was able to get some footage–mostly of the land based activities. So we offer three videos, one is the long version with all the footage, the other is the short version with snippets, and one is a middle of the road compilation!

The Polar Bear Plunge is a huge fundraiser for Special Olympics of Maryland and this year they estimate 12,000 plungers raised over $2 million dollars and more than 15,000 land lubbing people made the trek to Sandy Point State Park to cheer on the plungers, fist pump with DJ Pauly D, or just have a great time in the cold air along the Chesapeake Bay.

If you are interested in the still photos we shot, check out the post we did last night which has a link to the full gallery.

And as always, if you enjoyed these videos, please share them with your friends on facebook and followers on twitter by clicking the icons in the upper left corner.
