Two Found Dead After Glen Burnie Warehouse Fire. Anne Arundel County fire officials said they found two bodies after controlling a three-alarm fire at a Glen Burnie warehouse.Firefighters called to the old auto body shop on Arundel Corporation Road on Wednesday morning said they found heavy fire through the roof.After 60 firefighters spent nearly an hour controlling the flames, officials said investigators learned two people may have been inside the building.A collapse rescue team, county building inspector and Howard County canine unit team searched the building and found the bodies of two people inside.

Magazine: Baltimore #2 On “Least Attractive” List. At least Baltimore didn’t finish No. 1 on this dubious list. Travel + Leisure magazine has come out with a list of “America’s Most and Least Attractive People,” and while it placed Memphis No. 1 in the “least attractive people” ranking, Charm City was ranked No. 2. It cited “America’s Favorite Cities,” an annual magazine survey where readers rate 35 cities on a variety of factors, including best restaurants, airports and vacation destinations.It also rated how ugly the citizens were, and while Baltimore didn’t fare well, those that live here told 11 News they disagree. “I think that’s a lie because New York and Washington, D.C., have some very unattractive people. Baltimore has really gotten better,” said resident Christina Wooden.

Maryland Deficit About $1.6 Billion. Maryland budget analysts said Wednesday that the state’s deficit is about $1.6 billion. Members of the state’s nonpartisan Department of Legislative Services gave lawmakers a briefing on the state’s budget situation on Wednesday in Annapolis. The projections reflect a loss of federal stimulus money the state has used in recent years to balance the books, including money for Medicaid.Tax dollars are inching in the right direction but revenue sources aren’t keeping pace with expenditures, analysts said. They said ongoing requirements, mandates and entitlements account for 88.1 percent of spending.
