Holiday Hope Project

The Bowie Baysox are once again presenting Louie’s Holiday Hope Project Raffle. Fans who donate $10 or more to Louie’s Holiday Hope Project on www.baysox.com have the opportunity to win a Baysox prize package valued at more than $600.   The Baysox work with Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department, the Bowie Police Department and Bowie Youth and Family Services on the project to help families in need during the holiday season.

The prize package includes a luxury suite for Opening Night, Thursday, April 14, a bat autographed by the 2010 team, bobbleheads of Baltimore Orioles and former Baysox stars Matt Wieters, Brian Matusz, Brad Bergesen and Nolan Reimold, and baseballs autographed by the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Baysox teams.   All of the proceeds from the raffle are used to purchase toys and other items for families touched by the holiday hope project.

For every $10 a fan donates, they receive an entry in the raffle.  The winner is selected at random Friday, Nov. 19 and will be notified on Monday, Nov. 22, by either phone or e-mail.  The prize pack must be picked up in person at Prince George’s Stadium between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.  For more information on the raffle, fans can visit www.baysox.com.

The Baysox 2010 campaign has come to an end.  The Baysox open the 2011 season on the road in Harrisburg Thursday, April 7.  They play their first game at Prince George’s Stadium Thursday, April 14, at 7:05 p.m.  Baysox holiday ticket packages make a great gift and are now available at www.baysox.com.
