Teen Surprised With $10K Scholarship. An Anne Arundel County high school student received a $10,000 scholarship surprise on Wednesday.Taylor Collins said he though it was just another average day in English class at South River High School, but he quickly found out he was one of five regional winners of a $10,000 scholarship from Nordstrom.

1 Injured In 3-Vehicle Bay Bridge Crash.  A three-vehicle crash on the Bay Bridge on Wednesday afternoon caused headaches and delays for drivers crossing the westbound span of the bridge. Officials said the three vehicles collided on the bridge at about 4:45 p.m.Police told 11 News that one person had to be taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Suit Filed Over ‘Falsified’ Foreclosure Documents. A lawsuit filed Wednesday accuses several Maryland attorneys of falsifying foreclosure documents.The suit was filed on behalf of three Marylanders who have faced or could face foreclosure.One of the families spoke to 11 News and said they’re terrified of losing their home and also angry because they feel they’ve been taken advantage of.”If I had known there was a balloon I would not have signed anything,” homeowner Gerald Lembach said.The Lembach’s first got into trouble two years ago.They say they were duped into a bad refinance deal that increased their $1,500 mortgage payment to $4,000.”We were always up to date — our credit was perfect we were always on time, with the mortgage payment and everything,” Debbie Lembach said.

Ehrlich & O’Malley To Conduct Second Debate. Maryland’s Democratic Gov. Martin O’Malley and his Republican opponent, former Gov. Robert Ehrlich, will take part in their second debate.The debate will take place at noon Thursday at the Washington Post building. It is being organized by The Post and produced by WUSA-TV. It will be broadcast live on Maryland Public Television and replayed at 7 p.m.The two held their first debate Monday.You can watch Thursday’s debate by clicking here.
