Updated Site News & Reader Survey

| September 02, 2010, 11:59 AM | 0 Comments

We are in the home stretch! No doubt, you have seen some irregularities over the past week. Missed posts, posts that disappeared, images not displaying properly, etc.

These are all a result of a server change which is now 99.9% complete. Quite simply, our traffic had outgrown our old server and we needed to move. We are now on a dedicated server located in San Antonio, TX (and you don’t mess with Texas I am told)  with a Tier 1 Internet Service Provider (only one of 5 in the US) which offers faster connectivity and more reliable service. What that means to you is that things should move faster and you will have a better experience at Eye On Annapolis!

We are keeping an eye out for glitches, but if you happen to see one, please let us know–use the contact form, send us an email, or leave a comment!

And finally, another plug for our 2010 Reader’s Survey.  Please take three minutes to complete this short survey. The responses are anonymous and all questions are optional, but this will allow us to get a more clear picture of who our readers really are.  Your answers will help us develop the right content going forward and you can tell us what we are doing right or wrong.  Three minutes max–I promise!  Thanks!
