From a police report:

On September 23, 2010, at approximately 11:53 a.m., officers from the Eastern District responded to the Sandy Spring Bank located in the 8300 block of Veterans Highway in Millersville for a robbery of the business.

Investigation revealed that a male subject entered the bank, announced a robbery by passing a note and fled with an undisclosed amount of currency. No weapon was displayed or implied during the incident. The suspect was last seen leaving the business and fleeing on foot through the parking lot of the Wawa Convenience store located in the 8300 block of Veterans Highway in Millersville. Several Officers, a K-9 unit and an Aviation unit checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspect. Anyone with information on this incident is urged to contact Detective Clifford Van Hoesen of the Robbery Unit at 410-222-3469.

Suspect: White male, approximately 30 years old with brown hair and mustache, wearing a light-colored baseball style hat, silver sunglasses, a black undershirt under a tan long sleeve shirt with an orange construction style vest.
