The Capital is reporting that the lawsuit against Anne Arundel County Executive John R. Leopold has been expanded. The initial lawsuit filed by Karla Hamner apparently has been expanded and includes additional allegations from other women including a former employee who claimed that Leopold fancied a former reporter for The Capital, Lisa Beisel. Beisel refutes the story claiming she only had lunch with the Executive and was unsure of the purpose.
Additional allegations include that Leopold had an ongoing sexual affair with a married county employee and that this employee was in the Executive’s car when there was a report of “naked people” in the car which was parked at the mall.
The expanded suit is expected to be filed tomorrow, five days before the primary election.
