Arundel Lodge Seeks Artistic Donations for “Transformation” Benefit Auction

| August 01, 2010, 01:29 PM | 0 Comments

Never underestimate the power of inspiration. Arundel Lodge invites artists of all kinds to demonstrate the power of the human spirit to change paper into paintings, wool into weavings, and hard times into happiness. Along with the donated artwork, artists are asked to include a personal narrative about transformation, art, and life. Artwork will be featured at a benefit auction on Friday, November 5th. A preview of auction items will be on display in Arundel Lodge’s Open Eye Gallery this fall. The auction will also feature “life-transforming” wellness retreats, treatments, and products for mind, body, and spirit.

The benefit auction will raise funds for Arundel Lodge programs that help transform the lives of people with serious mental illness. Arundel Lodge is a nonprofit behavioral health center where persons with mental illness can be inspired and supported to live full and healthy lives. Sometimes the positive changes in an individual go beyond what anyone imagined.

Art submissions are due by September 15. For artwork submission guidelines, wellness auction donations, or to learn about Arundel Lodge, call Susan Still, Director of Development, at 443-433-5928 or go to www.arundellodge.org. All donations of goods and services are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.
