UPDATED: Annapolis City Hall Power Out

UPDATE August 5, 2010 12:17pm: From Phill McGowan, City Hall is in the process of being shut down completely for at least the day. BGE has identified a problem with a main power line between Conduit Street and City Hall which will need to be replaced.  Other City locations are up and running (police, fire, public works, etc) however any reliance on technology from City Hall (email) will be unavailable.  It is unknown at this time if the Gott’s Court Garage or other residences and businesses in the area have been impacted.

City spokesperson Phill McGowan just called us to ask that we let our readers know that Annapolis City Hall is currently without power. As a result, there is no email, electricity, and limited phone service. Please stay tuned to Eye On Annapolis for any updates.
