2 Sought In Anne Arundel Homicide.  Police said they were looking for two men in connection with a homicide late Thursday afternoon in Anne Arundel County.Officers said Adam Ray Bucklew, 21, of Brooklyn Park, was shot just after 5:30 p.m. He was discovered inside a car and pronounced dead at the scene.Police said they conducted an extensive search of the area but didn’t find the shooters.

Naval Academy Recruits Begin Plebe Summer.  About 1,230 recruits arrive at the U.S. Naval Academy on Thursday for Induction Day, where they officially begin their plebe year.The day marked the first day of plebe summer training, where the incoming class was issued its uniforms, given medical exams, received standard-issue haircuts and learned to salute.”I’m a little anxious. I just want to get into the process of things, and I’m kind of excited, too,” said plebe Steven Patricco.

Amtrak, MARC To Improve Commuter Experience.  Amtrak officials announced on Thursday actions they will be taking to help improve the commuter experience on MARC and Amtrak trains going forward.The announcement came after several recent breakdowns caused commuter headaches.”Amtrak is in the business of moving people and we must never forget that,” Amtrak President and CEO Joseph Boardman told passengers at Washington’s Union Station. “Passengers come first and the equipment comes second.”
