Armed Robbery In Glen Burnie

Another 7-Eleven has been robbed. This time it was the E. Furnace Branch Road store.  From the Anne Arundel County Police:

On July 6, 2010, at approximately 10:48 p.m., officers from the Northern District responded to the 7-Eleven store located in the 7300 block of E. Furnace Branch Road in Glen Burnie for a report of a robbery.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, a 49-year-old female clerk from Glen Burnie, who advised that a male suspect entered the store, approached the counter and demanded money. The suspect then lifted up his shirt and displayed a handgun that was tucked in his waistband. The clerk complied with the demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect exited the store, entered a dark-colored vehicle and fled in the direction of Route 10. Several officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
