Local Mag, Prop Talk, Celebrates 5 Years

| June 19, 2010, 01:48 PM | 0 Comments

PropTalk Magazine today announced the release of its 60th issue, marking the publication’s fifth year in publication. The free monthly magazine launched its first issue on June 15, 2005.

“We’re really excited about reaching this incredible milestone and the upward growth we continue to see in this publication,” says publisher Mary Iliff Ewenson. “It’s hard to find another free publication that features the deep coverage PropTalk has every month,” Ewenson adds.

Today the magazine continues to cover a unique blend of Chesapeake Bay-centric topics, which include engaging editorial on powerboating and powerboats, custom boatbuilding and restorations, fish news and forecasts, Bay ecology and preservation, cruising and gunkholing, monthly news, an extensive calendar of events, cruising club notes, and other interesting feature articles penned by well-known area writers.

Since its launch, well over 1.8 million copies of the Annapolis, MD-based magazine have been distributed throughout a five-state area that includes 850 strategic distribution points in the states of Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
