Greenstreet Gardens Hosts Even

Over 175 varieties of heirloom and hybrid tomato seedlings, great advice and everything else a gardener needs for a successful tomato season await visitors at this year’s Tomatomania!, April 30 – May 2nd at Greenstreet Gardens in Lothian, MD.

After a disastrous 2009 tomato season on much of the East Coast due to rampant late blight, gardeners up and down the eastern seaboard are waiting even more impatiently than ever for the start of spring.  And spring, for many, starts with tomatoes.

“Greenstreet has grown an even bigger selection of wonderful seedlings this year, which is sure to excite area garden lovers,” says event producer Scott Daigre.

A huge selection of Tomato growing supplies and several how-to classes will round out the weekend.  Greenstreet Growers is located at 391 West Bay Front Road in Lothian, Maryland.  For more information on Tomatomania, class times or any of Greenstreet Gardens’ many services and offerings call the nursery at (410) 867-9500 or find them online at www.greenstreetgardens.com.
