Stephen Utendahl Wanted For Rape

Man Wanted For Laurel Rape

From an Anne Arundel County Police Department Release:

On April 15, 2010, at approximately 7:11 a.m., officers from the Western District responded to the 3500 block of Russett Common in Laurel for a report of a rape and assault that took place on April 14, 2010, at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Sharonwood Road in Laurel.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the female victim, who identified the suspect as Stephen Phillip Utendahl. The suspect and victim are known to each other and the suspect targeted the victim in this incident. On April 15, 2010, the suspect’s vehicle was located and recovered in the 9600 block of Barrel House Road in Howard County.

At this time, there is a felony warrant for First Degree Rape, Assault and other related charges on file for the suspect’s arrest. Detectives are actively attempting to locate the suspect and are seeking the public’s assistance in this matter. Please be advised that the suspect is considered armed and extremely dangerous. Anyone with information on this crime or the whereabouts of Stephen Utendahl is urged to immediately contact the Anne Arundel County Police Department at 410-222-8610 or dial 911.
